Simple dark chocolate colored SECONDS mug. Though some warpage is not unusual, this particular mug is marked as SECONDS due to slightly more warpage than normal as seen in the photographs. The pricing reflects the SECONDS designation.

The mug is glazed with a caramel colored glaze on the interior and beautifully accents the pull marks seen on wheel-thrown pottery. The exterior of the mug is left unglazed to highlight the natural beauty of this dark clay body. The clay body, Azabache, is sourced locally in California.
Hand-crafted and lovingly thrown on a pottery wheel. Trimmed during the greenware stage. Bisque fired. Glaze fired to Cone 5. Bottom surface of mug smoothed to 3000 grit.
