Simple dark chocolate colored mug. The mug is glazed with a caramel colored glaze on the interior and subtly accents the pull marks seen on wheel-thrown pottery. The exterior of the mug is left unglazed to highlight the natural beauty of this dark clay body. The clay body, Azabache, is sourced locally in California.
Hand-crafted and lovingly thrown on a pottery wheel. Trimmed during the greenware stage. Bisque fired. Glaze fired to Cone 5. Bottom surface of mug smoothed to 3000 grit.
